At work with no work

It is occurring to me how annoying working in an open plan environment is when you are completely out of work. It means you actually have to do a good job of acting like you are working whilst achieving nothing. My last desk space in the old office was great as my back faced a wall so in down time I could spend it on the internet researching my next trip.

    I find it useful to always have a relevant software application open on your computer at all times. That way you can hit CTRL+TAB when somebody walks by to hide the internet research you're doing.
